It features over 40 lavish state rooms adorned with stucco ceilings, monumental paintings, and the State Gallery housing works from the Middle Ages to Baroque. The highlight is the enchanting Rose Garden designed by Balthasar Neumann, containing over 4,500 roses in more than 70 beds bordered by clipped lime trees. The garden offers stunning panoramic views of the Old Town and is free to enter. A garden pavilion from 1757 houses a charming cafe.
