The cathedral houses the tombs of Emperor Henry II and his wife Kunigunde, as well as the only papal tomb in Germany belonging to Pope Clement II. Famous highlights include the mysterious Bamberg Horseman sculpture from 1225 and the ornate Prince's Doorway adorned with reliefs of apostles and prophets. Located on Cathedral Hill, the Dom is a central component of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and features four distinctive towers reaching 81 meters in height.
