Nubian Museum
The Nubian Museum is an architectural masterpiece and exceptional museum telling the story of Nubian civilization from prehistory to present day. Winner of the Aga Khan Architecture Award, it houses over 3,000 Nubian artifacts rescued before Lake Nasser flooded the region. Exhibits include statues of Kushite pharaohs, mummies, painted pottery, and items from ancient Nubian temples. The outdoor gardens feature monumental statues and an authentic cave dwelling.
