The Medieval Crime and Justice Museum is Germany's most important legal history museum. Located in the historic Johanniterscheune building, it displays over 50,000 artifacts related to law, justice, and punishment from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. Visitors can see torture instruments, shame masks, iron cages, and legal documents. The exhibition spans four floors and includes a beautiful courtyard with a café.
