Man Mo Temple is Hong Kong's oldest Taoist temple, built in 1847. Dedicated to the God of Literature (Man) and the God of War (Mo), it's famous for its giant spiral incense coils hanging from the ceiling, which burn for weeks. The temple is a Grade I Historic Building and preserves the authentic atmosphere of old China in the heart of the modern metropolis.

Morning (8:00-10:00) before crowds arrive. Light through open doors creates beautiful rays through incense smoke.
Take MTR to Sheung Wan station, Exit A2. Walk 5-7 minutes along Hollywood Road. You can also walk from Mid-Levels Escalators or Soho area.
Upon entering, you'll be immersed in incense atmosphere — hundreds of spiral coils create mystical smoke. The main hall with deity altars impresses with traditional carvings. You can witness fortune-telling with bamboo sticks. The temple is small but very photogenic. Please maintain quiet and respect for worshippers.
