October to December offers the clearest skies and best visibility. Visit on weekday mornings to avoid crowds. For city lights photography, arrive 30 minutes before sunset. Avoid typhoon season (June-September) when visibility is poor and the tram may close.
Take the Peak Tram from Central Station (MTR Hong Kong Station, Exit K). Alternatively, take Bus 15 from Central Ferry Pier or Minibus 1 from MTR Hong Kong Station.
Prepare for crowds, especially on weekends and holidays. The Peak Tram queue can be long - consider booking VIP tickets for priority boarding. Sky Terrace 428 offers the best 360-degree views. Evening visits are spectacular for city lights and Symphony of Lights views. Bring a light jacket as it's cooler at the summit. Free viewing areas exist at Peak Garden and along the circular walk.
Sky Terrace 428 offers unobstructed 360-degree views for the best photos. For free alternatives, Lion's Pavilion along the Circular Walk provides excellent shots of the harbour. The Peak Galleria rooftop garden also offers great views without entrance fee.
