Het Blauwe Hart
Het Blauwe Hart (The Blue Heart) is an illuminated glass sculpture designed by Marcel Smink in 1998. Standing 2.5 meters tall, it consists of blue glass panels arranged in a heart shape on a stainless steel base. The blue color references the famous Delft Blue pottery, while the heart itself represents the beating heart of the city. Illuminated at night, the sculpture creates an enchanting scene and is located near the Nieuwe Kerk, making it a perfect photo backdrop.
