Unique rock formations created from volcanic ash over millions of years. Tuff towers topped with caps of hard basalt, resembling giant mushrooms or chimneys. Found throughout Cappadocia but most famous clusters are in Love Valley, Pasabag, and Devrent. Many were converted into dwellings, storage, and churches throughout history.
