The largest underground city in Cappadocia, extending 8 floors deep (60 meters). Sheltered up to 20,000 people with their livestock during invasions. Includes churches, schools, wine cellars, and stables. Sophisticated ventilation system and massive rolling stone doors for protection. Originally built by Phrygians in the 8th century BC.
