Casa de la Vall (House of the Valley) is Andorras most emblematic historic building, serving as the seat of one of Europes oldest parliaments for over three centuries. Built in 1580 as a manor house for the Busquets family, it was acquired by the General Council in 1702 and served as the countrys parliament until 2011. Today it operates as a history museum where visitors can explore the historic chambers, learn about Andorras unique political system, and see the famous cabinet with seven locks, requiring keys from all seven parishes to open.
