Zaryadye Park
Zaryadye Park is Moscow s most unusual park, risen on the site of the demolished Russia Hotel just steps from the Kremlin. Four Russian natural zones, a floating bridge over the river, an underground concert hall. Opened in 2017.
Concept
The park was designed by American firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro and Russian Citymakers. The idea is to showcase Russia s natural diversity across 13 hectares. Four landscape zones: tundra, steppe, forest, floodplain meadows.
The Floating Bridge
The main attraction is a V-shaped observation platform cantilevered over the Moscow River. 70 meters long, no supports. Views of the Kremlin, embankments. Free.
Other Attractions
Philharmonic hall with 1,600 seats. Ice Cave at -5C. Media Center with flight simulator. Underground Museum with archaeological finds.
Practical Information
Entry is free; attractions are paid. The park is open 24 hours. Metro: Kitay-gorod, Ploshchad Revolyutsii. From Red Square 5 minutes on foot.
