The Weinstadel (wine warehouse) and adjacent Hangman's Bridge offer Nuremberg's most romantic and picturesque views. The long half-timbered building from 1448 stored wine for the neighboring Holy Spirit Hospital, while the covered wooden bridge connected the executioner's dwelling to the city. Today, the Weinstadel houses student accommodation. The view from the bridge at sunset is unforgettable.
