A 16th-century clock tower featuring a complex astronomical clock designed by Paolo Gennari (1544-1546). The dial shows 24 hours, the sun's position in the zodiac, and moon phases. Most famous are the 'Macc de le Ure' - copper automatons that have been striking the hours since 1581.

'Macc de le Ure' (the crazy ones of the hours in Brescian dialect) are two copper automatons nicknamed 'Tone e Batista'. They strike the bell with their hammers every hour since their installation in 1581.
