Staubbach Falls
Staubbach Falls plunges 297 meters from a vertical cliff directly in the heart of Lauterbrunnen village. This iconic Swiss waterfall inspired Goethe's famous poem 'Song of the Spirits over the Waters' in 1779. On sunny days the water spray disperses like dust (Staub), giving the falls its name. A path carved into the rock allows you to walk behind the curtain of falling water — a unique experience.
