St. Lawrence Church
St. Lawrence Church is a medieval Gothic church and one of the most important churches in Nuremberg. Construction began around 1250 as a three-aisled basilica in high Gothic style; later the imposing late Gothic hall choir (1439-1477) was added. The church houses exceptional artworks including the Annunciation by Veit Stoss and the tabernacle by Adam Kraft. Around 70,000 visitors come each month to admire its art treasures.
