Ses Salines Natural Park
Ses Salines Natural Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site spanning between Ibiza and Formentera. The salt flats have been in use for over 2,000 years — during hot summer months, evaporating water leaves a sparkling layer of pure salt. The area supports rich habitats for migratory birds including flamingos. The pink-tinged salt pans provide a stunning backdrop for sunset photography. The park also includes pristine beaches like Platja de ses Salines, one of Ibiza's most beautiful.
