Puig des Molins Necropolis
Puig des Molins Necropolis is the largest and best-preserved Phoenician-Punic necropolis in the entire Mediterranean, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It contains an estimated 3,000 graves carved into the hillside, the oldest dating to the 7th century BC. The on-site museum displays artifacts uncovered during excavations — terracotta figurines, jewelry, pottery, and funerary objects that reveal daily life in ancient Ibiza. You can explore some of the underground burial chambers (hypogea) carved into the rock.
