Pont de Paris

The Pont de Paris is a striking avant-garde cable-stayed bridge crossing the Gran Valira river in the heart of Andorra la Vella. Designed in 2005 by Spanish civil engineers Leonardo Fernandez Troyano and Guillermo Ayuso Calle and completed in 2006, this modern architectural landmark features a straight branch of 45 meters and a semicircular branch of 27 meters. The bridge is inscribed with the capitals name and transforms at night with illuminated evening displays, including a light and fountain show at 9:30 PM on weekends and holidays.
