The Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb (MSU) is Croatia's largest contemporary art museum housing a collection of over 12,000 Croatian and international artworks. Located in an architecturally striking building designed by Igor Franic (opened 2009) in Novi Zagreb south of the Sava river, it features bold modernist design with spacious exhibition halls and fully modern facilities. The museum presents permanent and temporary exhibitions along with a cinema program. Free admission on the first Wednesday of every month. Unlike most Zagreb museums, it is located in New Zagreb - take tram lines 6 or 7 to Sopot stop
