Moraca Canyon
The Moraca Canyon is one of the most spectacular natural wonders in Montenegro, stretching for approximately 30 kilometers along the Moraca River between Podgorica and Kolasin. The canyon features dramatic cliff walls reaching up to 1,000 meters high, with the turquoise river winding through the bottom. The scenic drive along the canyon is considered one of the most beautiful in Europe, with numerous viewpoints, tunnels, and bridges. Along the route, you can visit the 13th-century Moraca Monastery, a masterpiece of Serbian medieval architecture with stunning frescoes.
