Stara Varos is the historic Ottoman-era quarter of Podgorica, featuring narrow winding streets, traditional stone houses, and authentic atmosphere that transports visitors back in time. This oldest part of the city showcases Turkish architectural influence with its mosques, old shops, and residential buildings dating back several centuries. The neighborhood includes landmarks like the Clock Tower (Sahat Kula), the Old Bridge over the Ribnica River, and several historic mosques including the Osmanagic and Starodoganjska mosques.
