Mirogoj Cemetery is considered one of the most beautiful cemeteries in Europe and functions as an open-air art gallery. Designed by architect Herman Bolle in 1876, it features 500 meters of neo-Renaissance arcades with 20 domes and remarkable sculptures by Croatia's finest artists.
