Masjid al-Miqat
Masjid al-Miqat, also known as Dhul Hulaifah, Masjid al-Shajarah, or Abyar Ali, is the miqat (starting point) for pilgrims from Medina performing Hajj or Umrah. Located 12 km southwest of the Prophet's Mosque on the western side of Wadi al-Aqiq. Built in a square shape during King Fahd's reign, it features modern facilities for men and women for ritual washing and donning the ihram. This is where pilgrims perform ghusl, put on ihram garments, and make their intention before heading to Mecca.
