Manarola is the most photogenic Cinque Terre village, famous for its colorful terraced houses cascading down the hillside and its wine production. The village is home to some of the oldest vineyards in the region producing the famous Sciacchetra dessert wine. The view from the lookout point at sunset with illuminated houses is one of Italy's most iconic images.
