Leuven Town Hall
Leuven Town Hall is one of Europe's most stunning Gothic buildings, constructed between 1439 and 1469. Its breathtaking facade is adorned with 236 statues representing Biblical figures, local legends, Counts of Leuven, and scholars. Every window and corner tells a story through intricate sculptures. The exquisite architectural details testify to the city's medieval wealth as a textile center. Interior tours showcase the Large and Small Gothic Halls. Note: The building may be under renovation until 2030 - check the website before visiting. The towers were planned but never added due to unstable foundations.
