Jaffa Flea Market
Jaffa Flea Market (Shuk HaPishpeshim) is a treasure trove of antiques, handmade and second-hand items, operating for over 100 years. Located next to Jaffa's picturesque Old City and famous Clock Tower, the market sprawls across several streets including Olei Zion, Yehuda Margoza, and Beit Eshel. The market is open six days a week from Sunday through Friday, offering a unique blend of art boutiques, designer stores, second-hand places, and restaurants. The market got its name from the French who named it after the fleas that infested old furniture. Recent years have seen trendy furniture and clothing shops opening alongside traditional vendors selling Arabic pottery and ceramics. Friday morning is the busiest time with the widest variety, including portable stands where artists show their creations.
