Hvar Wine Tasting
Wine tasting on Hvar Island is a unique cultural experience combining stunning landscapes with distinctive local wines. The island's signature grape is Plavac Mali, a bold red wine, alongside local white varieties like Bogdanusa and Posip, and the traditional sweet dessert wine Prosek. Tasting experiences range from simple sessions at EUR 30-40 per person with 4-6 wines and appetizers, to full experiences with a meal at EUR 75-100. Multi-winery guided tours range from EUR 80-140 per person. Most wineries operate April through October by appointment. The grape harvest season in September-October provides the most atmospheric experience, while sunset tastings at select wineries offer unforgettable evening moments with Adriatic views
