Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park spans over 120,000 square meters in the heart of the city, on land that was once the city's busiest commercial district before being destroyed by the atomic bomb. The park contains numerous monuments, memorials, and museums dedicated to peace, including the Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Museum, Cenotaph, Peace Flame, and Children's Peace Monument.
