Hase-dera Temple
Hase-dera Temple is one of the most famous Buddhist temples in Kamakura, renowned for its 9.18-meter tall gilded wooden statue of Kannon, one of the largest wooden statues in Japan. The temple sits on a hillside offering panoramic views of Sagami Bay. The beautiful gardens feature thousands of small Jizo statues and are particularly famous for their hydrangeas in June, attracting visitors from across Japan.
