Double Bridge
The Double Bridge (Doppelbrücke) is a historic 14th century two-tiered bridge spanning the Tauber Valley. Built around 1330, it resembles a Roman aqueduct with its two rows of arches stacked on top of each other. The bridge was part of the trade route between Würzburg and Augsburg. Destroyed in World War II, it was rebuilt in 1956. The bridge offers magnificent views of the walled city above.
