Cueva Pintada Museum and Archaeological Park
This site contains the most significant example of pre-Hispanic art in the Canary Islands - geometric polychrome cave paintings by the ancient Guanche people dating back to at least the 6th century. The archaeological park covers an entire pre-Hispanic settlement with remains of over 50 houses and caves. The paintings feature distinctive patterns of circles, triangles, and squares in red, black, and white. A protected national cultural heritage site and a unique window into the aboriginal civilization of the Canaries
