Cloth Hall
The Cloth Hall is a Renaissance building at the center of the Main Market Square that has served as a trading market since the 13th century. The ground floor houses traditional stalls selling Polish crafts, amber jewelry, wooden carvings, and souvenirs. The upper floor contains the Gallery of 19th-Century Polish Art from the National Museum, featuring works by Poland's most important painters. The ornate facade with its arches and columns is among Krakow's finest architectural landmarks. The building embodies the history of international trade that made Krakow one of the wealthiest cities in Central Europe
