Château Frontenac
Château Frontenac is the most photographed hotel in the world and the iconic symbol of Quebec City. Designed in the style of French medieval castles, it opened in 1893 as a luxury hotel for the Canadian Pacific Railway. Towering over the Old Town with commanding views of the St. Lawrence River, it has hosted royalty, celebrities, and the historic 1943 Quebec Conference between Churchill and Roosevelt. Guided tours reveal its rich history, ghost legends, and architectural splendor. The hotel features world-class dining at Champlain restaurant.
