Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ

The Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ is the main Serbian Orthodox cathedral in Podgorica and one of the largest religious buildings in the Balkans. Completed in 2013 after 20 years of construction, this impressive modern cathedral features a 35.5-meter central dome covered in gold and a striking white facade with intricate stone carvings. The interior is adorned with beautiful frescoes and iconography in traditional Byzantine style. The cathedral can accommodate up to 5,000 worshippers and serves as the seat of the Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral.
