Useful tips for visiting Queenstown

Book accommodation and adventures early in peak season (July-August ski, December-January summer).
Weather is very changeable - pack layers. Can experience four seasons in one day.
Contactless payment works everywhere. No need for much cash - most places accept cards.
Remember: driving is on the left! Only rent a car if comfortable. Roads are narrow and winding.
