Yes! Since 2022, an accredited local guide is mandatory for most park sites. Only Tahai and Anakena beach can be visited without a guide.
NO! Strictly forbidden. A tourist was fined $17,000 for touching a moai. Touching, climbing, collecting stones is prohibited. Violation is a criminal offense.
Required: FUI form, accommodation booking at accredited hotel, return ticket (max 30 days on island). Without accommodation booking you wont board in Santiago!
