Phoenix Park is one of the largest enclosed public parks in any European capital, covering 1,750 acres (707 hectares). Established in 1662 as a royal hunting ground, it is home to wild fallow deer, Dublin Zoo, Aras an Uachtarain (the Presidents residence), and the stunning Victorian flower gardens. The park offers cycling paths, sports fields, and the famous Phoenix Monument at its center.
