Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in Arizona with wavy sandstone walls. Upper Canyon famous for light beams at noon. Lower is deeper and less crowded. Only with Navajo guide, book ahead. Tours 60-150 dollars. Page town is the gateway.

April-May and September-October for best weather and light. For famous light beams in Upper Canyon, book 11:30am-12:30pm slot (April-September only). Summer extremely hot, winter can be cold. Avoid monsoon season (July-August) - flash flood risk closes canyon.
