Büyük Han
Büyük Han, or the Great Inn, is the largest caravanserai in Cyprus and one of the best-preserved examples of Ottoman architecture on the island. Built by the Ottomans in 1572 shortly after the conquest, it provided shelter for merchants and travelers along trade routes. The two-story building features 68 rooms arranged around a beautiful central courtyard with a fountain and small mosque. Today it has been converted into a cultural center housing craft workshops, art shops, and traditional cafes, making it perfect for shopping and experiencing authentic Ottoman atmosphere.
