Michaels Gate is the only preserved gate of the medieval city fortifications of Bratislava, built around 1300 and rebuilt in Baroque style in 1758. The 51-meter tower is topped with a statue of St. Michael and the Dragon. It houses the Museum of Weapons and City Fortification with exhibitions on the history of town defense. The viewing platform offers panoramic views over Old Town.
