Cinquantenaire Park (Jubelpark) is a magnificent 74-acre urban park built in 1880 to celebrate 50 years of Belgian independence. Its centerpiece is the monumental Triumphal Arch topped by a bronze quadriga (horse-drawn chariot), modeled after the Brandenburg Gate. The park houses three major museums: the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History (free!), Autoworld classic car museum, and the Art & History Museum. It also features a Victor Horta Art Nouveau pavilion and Belgiums oldest mosque.
