Mont Titano
Monte Titano is the iconic mountain that hosts the capital of San Marino and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008 along with the historic center. Rising 739 meters above sea level, its three peaks are crowned by the famous Three Towers. The mountain offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Italian Romagna region and the Adriatic Sea. According to legend, Saint Marinus climbed this mountain in 301 AD to escape Roman persecution and founded the worlds oldest republic.
