Musée Magritte
The Magritte Museum houses the worlds largest collection of works by Belgian surrealist artist René Magritte (1898-1967). Located in the elegant neoclassical Altenloh Hotel on Place Royale, the museum displays over 230 works including paintings, drawings, photographs, and archival documents. Magrittes iconic images like The Son of Man and The Treachery of Images (This is not a pipe) have become symbols of 20th-century art. The collection spans his entire career across three floors.
