Más segura que Johannesburgo pero SA tiene crimen. Usa solo Uber. No camines de noche. Oculta objetos de valor. Suburbios (Brooklyn, Waterkloof) bien. Zonas gubernamentales seguras. Astucia callejera esencial pero mayoría de turistas bien.

Gautrain 35 min - excelente, seguro, R70. Autopista 45 min pero tráfico. Uber accesible ~R300-400. Mayoría de turistas vuelan a JNB, luego Gautrain a Pretoria. Dos ciudades funcionan como una zona metropolitana.

Prueba braai (BBQ sudafricano - obsesión nacional), biltong (carne seca), boerewors, pap, bunny chow. Vino excelente y barato. Escena de cerveza artesanal en crecimiento. Cocina sudafricana subestimada. Comida muy asequible.
