Yasuní National Park
Yasuní National Park spans 9,800 square kilometers of Amazon rainforest and is recognized as one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. This UNESCO Biosphere Reserve hosts an estimated 100,000 insect species, 600 bird species, and 170 mammal species. The park is home to the indigenous Waorani and Kichwa peoples, who welcome visitors to learn about their sustainable culture. Protected uncontacted tribes also live here.
