Wroclaw Zoo + Africarium
Wroclaw Zoo is the largest zoo in Poland spanning 33 hectares with over 10,000 animals of 1,100 species. The crown jewel is the Africarium — the only facility in the world dedicated entirely to African aquatic habitats. It features sharks, hippos, manatees, penguins, and underwater glass tunnels passing through massive tanks. Founded in 1865, it is one of the oldest zoos in Europe. Sections range from tropical rainforests to the Arctic. Online tickets are strongly recommended for significant savings of up to 30 PLN compared to gate prices. Allow at least 4-6 hours for a complete visit
