Wroclaw Dwarfs (Krasnale)
Wroclaw Dwarfs are a unique cultural phenomenon — over 1,040 small bronze figurines scattered across the city's streets and alleys. Each figurine stands about 30 cm tall and depicts various everyday characters: a cook making pierogi, a musician playing, a tourist taking photos, and many more. The idea was inspired by the Orange Alternative movement of the 1980s, a creative anti-communist protest movement that used dwarfs as symbols of peaceful resistance. Searching for them has become a popular activity that turns a city walk into an entertaining treasure hunt.
