Western Group of Temples
The Western Group of Khajuraho Temples is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a masterpiece of 10th-century Chandela civilization. It contains over 870 stunning sculptures depicting gods, mythology, and daily life — and the famous erotic scenes that comprise less than 10% of the total artwork. Kandariya Mahadeva Temple is the tallest and most ornate, while Lakshmana Temple is best preserved.
