Wat Ratchaburana
Wat Ratchaburana, the Temple of Royal Restoration, was built in 1424 by King Borommarachathirat II as a memorial to his two elder brothers who died in a duel over succession. The temple houses the largest chedi in Ayutthaya, and visitors can descend into underground chambers that once contained royal treasures. Original murals can still be seen in the crypt.
