Wat Phra Si Sanphet
Wat Phra Si Sanphet was the most important temple in the old Ayutthaya Royal Palace. Featuring three distinctive chedis containing the ashes of three Ayutthaya kings, it served as the site for royal ceremonies. The temple was never inhabited by monks and was used exclusively by the royal family. Its three bell-shaped chedis are the most recognizable symbol of Ayutthaya.
